i dont know about marcie and hugh (who the hell is hugh? when i think of the name HUGH i think of a specific BORG from star trek.. heh... ) but I do think it is time for a change with the whole terrible triangle thing. I cant stand natalie and john (never have been, never will be able to, and the longer this drags on without going anywhere, the more i hate it), and while a natalie/michael pairing would be a little off.... they have WAY more chemistry in even just one scene than nat/john have had in this 3 or something years this damn whining over john game has been going on. Personally, i would have liked an al/natalie pairing better (hell, an Al/anybody pairing would be better... but alas they turned him into a one-dimensional mcbain)... al and natalie have an interesting yet bad history together (the whole al/wheelchair/jen/natalie/seth fiasco.... which, by the way, natalie was desperate but she eventually gave up... why isnt she giving up on john when she KNOWS he doesnt want her, just as she did with seth, and did temporarily with cris?)

But yah... seeing her give up on john would be great... and if shes paired with somebody she actually acts well with (like michael) even better!

And marcie and michael just dont have it like marcie and al did. I know its the same actor, but the character of michael just doesnt have the dynamic and bond with marcie. I don't care if mike has als soul.. i think that storyline was retarded and i would like to forget about it. And it just isnt the same as what marcie and al went through to end up together. The scifi storyline of al/michael/marcies "love story" was not only weak... but an easy way into that relationship, without bothering to write a good storyline for them to actually end up together. time to move on!

(yes, that was sarcasm... its just a really really odd and funny spoiler that just really doesnt work as a full sentence... I agree with you, except I am not sure if Michael and Natalie would really work. I really want Christian and Natalie back together, the most though! But if that can't happen Mike and Nat would be okay.

I'm watching Marcie and Hugh now and I love them. I absolutely love them.

ITA. I used to love Al & Marcie and even the beginning of Michael & Marcie, but it's OVER. Meanwhile, I am liking Michael w/ Nat, and John & Nat make me ill. Oh, and I want John w/ Vange. So yeah, IA.
